As your wedding photographer I’m knee deep in the rivers, pulling paparazzi moves behind trees, and jumping on rocks like a mountain goat.
I call it the ‘Don’t mind me–stay where you are–I'll do the moving’ approach. (Other photogs call it ‘Journalistic’ or ‘Candid’ style.)
Every couple knows how to hug and kiss.
I don't need to teach you that.
You know how to fit into each other's arms so I'm not going to pose you in ways that don’t feel natural.
What I will do? I’ll observe the special, little ways you naturally interact as a couple and build on that. I’ll encourage you to go check out the view and give you space. My goal is to create an environment where you feel comfortable doing your thing—your real thing—in front of the camera.
Looking at the view and one another you’ll forget all about posing or not posing. (Or what log I’m balancing on to capture you being all cute.)

From getting ready and your mountain framed vows, to cheering at the brewery with friends at the end of the day. 2-3 locations possible

Hypotheticals not hitting the spot?
We had an intimate ceremony with just 10 guests at an Airbnb in the mountains, followed by a hike in our full wedding attire. Laura did the planning of picking the hiking spot, building the timeline, and of course taking the most ridiculously incredible pictures I've ever seen. The photos are beyond what we were even dreaming of, but more importantly, Laura made the whole experience so much fun!”

Holy shit! You’re really doing it! You relax and soak it all in, while I capture every beautiful moment. And don’t worry, before meeting you IRL I’m making sure your memories are protected. I’m talking about backup gear, back up plans, and back up everythings. I’m coming fully equipped to make sure you have an amazing day.

I always send a couple of teasers/sneak peeks within 24 hours for you both to enjoy. Your entire gallery will be delivered in about 6-8 weeks! These photos will always remind you that you wedding day actually was that fucking incredible. And you can share the entire experience with your friends and family.

We’ll have a virtual happy hour where you can tell me all about your relationship and how awesome it is. After knocking out your questions, I’ll ask you what the most important part of your day is. That will be our focus, from here on out. If you wanna come hang with me in NC, a signed contract and retainer is all it takes to lock us in!

Planning
I’ll send you all the goods: vendor recs, eloping tips, and some questionnaires. From your questionnaire answers I’ll compile a location list based on your needs and scenery you love. After narrowing down where and how you want to spend the day I’ll create a timeline custom fitted for your vision. We’ll work together to make sure it’s perfect.
